DIN82607 Double Bitt Bollard is a mooring and towing fitting installed on board to belay the mooring and towing ropes. It is based on the standard of DIN8570, welded by high quality steel pipes and sheets, which is a direct improvement of the Single Bitt Bollard.
DIN82607 Double Bitt Bollard is mainly used to belay the mooring and towing ropes. Its weight ranges from 21kg to 765kg, and the traction also ranges from 10KN to 320KN. It has a yield point of not less than 235N/mm2. Without any visible flaws or imperfections, and sandblasting to S2.5, then sprayed 2 layers of primer anti-rust painting.
The bollard is provided with two ridges to prevent the rope from moving, and is designed to stop lugs for the application of the ropes. At the same time, an eye plate would be provided for tying the stopping-off rope or chain.
